1. Not a Medical Service
ManFlu Hotline is not a medical service, healthcare provider, medical clinic, hospital, or any form of medical institution. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, care, or prescriptions of any kind. Nothing communicated through this service should be interpreted as medical advice.
2. Not a Crisis Hotline or Emergency Service
ManFlu Hotline is not a crisis hotline, emergency response service, or 911 equivalent. It cannot dispatch emergency responders. It does not provide real-time crisis intervention. If you are in immediate danger, call 911 immediately. For Canada suicide crisis support, call or text 988.
3. Not a Replacement for Emergency Services
Do not use ManFlu Hotline instead of contacting emergency services in a life-threatening situation. Emergency services (911, 988) must be your first call in any emergency.
4. Not Therapy
ManFlu Hotline does not provide licensed therapy, psychotherapy, counselling, or any mental health treatment. No therapeutic relationship is created by using this service. Human support, when available, is emotional support only and is not provided by licensed therapists, psychologists, or psychiatrists unless explicitly stated otherwise.
5. No Diagnosis or Treatment
ManFlu Hotline does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any mental health condition, physical health condition, disorder, disease, or illness. No communication through the service constitutes a clinical assessment or evaluation.
6. No Professional Advice
ManFlu Hotline does not provide medical, psychiatric, psychological, legal, financial, or emergency advice. Information shared through the service is supportive and informational only. Do not rely on it to replace professional qualified advice in any of these areas.
7. AI Response Limitations
AI responses are generated automatically and may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or inappropriate for your specific situation. AI is a support tool, not a professional. It cannot understand your full context. Do not treat AI responses as professional advice.
8. Human Support Limitations
Human support, when available, is provided by trained support listeners who are not licensed mental health professionals. Sessions are emotional support only. No professional advice, diagnosis, or treatment is provided. Availability is not guaranteed.
9. Member Responsibility
Members are solely responsible for their own decisions, actions, and outcomes. You agree not to rely solely on ManFlu Hotline for emergency, medical, psychiatric, legal, or safety decisions. You agree to seek qualified professional care when appropriate. You agree to call emergency services immediately if you or someone else is in danger.
10. No Guarantees
No guarantee is made that advice, suggestions, responses, resources, or support will be accurate, complete, suitable, timely, or effective for any specific situation. Results vary. No outcome is guaranteed.
11. Technology & Third Parties
The service uses automated systems, AI agents, human reviewers, third-party tools, communication providers, payment processors, identity verification vendors, and cloud hosting providers. Your data may be processed by these systems as described in our Privacy Policy.
12. Conversation Monitoring
Conversations may be reviewed for safety, quality, compliance, legal protection, and crisis escalation. Privacy is important to us but confidentiality is not absolute.
13. Emergency Disclosure
ManFlu Hotline may disclose information where required by law, to prevent harm, to protect vulnerable people, to respond to abuse, to comply with legal obligations, to protect the company, or to escalate an emergency.
14. Age Requirement
Users must be at least 18 years old. The service is not intended for minors. Users must provide truthful identity information.
15. Limitation of Liability
ManFlu Hotline and its owners, directors, officers, employees, contractors, affiliates, agents, partners, technology providers, AI providers, and service providers are not responsible for harm, loss, injury, death, self-harm, third-party harm, emotional distress, financial loss, relationship consequences, employment consequences, legal consequences, or any other outcome arising from use or misuse of the service.
16. Acceptable Use & Termination
False identity, abusive use, harassment, threats, illegal content, or misuse can result in account suspension or termination without refund.
